I think that you already have got knowledge through various blog sites and other websites about the hacking of Facebook account. Hackers are cleverly doing these illegal tasks. As a result, they are taking all the personal information from people. But you are a little conscious about this, you can get rid of this situation. In this post, I am describing about such tricks:
1. Use Complex Passwords
Wisely choose your password for your Facebook account. Never use your name, family name, birth date, mobile number etc. as a password. Try to use complex words. You can use uppercase and lowercase letter together into your password. You can also include some numeric numbers from 1 to 9 or some special characters like *, $ etc. into your password. The password length is also another main factor. If your password length is small, the possibility of hacking will be increased. It is better to make password length from 6 to higher digits. You can write password into one place so that you can use that in spite of forgetting your password.
2. Change Your Password Regularly
You should change your password after some weeks or one month. If you forget password in any way, then use the “Forgot Password” option of Facebook.
3. Do Not Share Personal Information a Lot
It means that you should not place any such information into your profile info which is related to your account password or email. It is safe for you to share less information with your friends.
4. Do Not Add All Kinds of People as Friend
There are many Facebook users who add people as friend seeing just his profile picture. You should never do that. If any request comes from unknown person, then see his/her profile information and see his friends. Also get the list of the mutual friends between you and him/her. Then decide according to your knowledge. Do not try to add them who have no profile pictures.
5. Do Not Click a Link without Knowing About That
Sometimes you may get website links from other people. Never click on those without knowing about those properly. Be very careful about this. Before clicking on these applications, read the terms and conditions. Remember that Facebook or any application of Facebook will never ask you for your Facebook id and password.
6. Be Careful in Email Checking
Now-a-days, email is a choice of hackers to attack Facebook accounts. Facebook will never ask you for your personal information, or notice to change your password through email. If needed, Facebook will tell you to go to settings and change there. So, never give information without testing the offer coming from email.
I hope you have understood easily the above tricks. If you have any more tricks in your hand you can share it. Thanks to all.
