Winter is approaching fast. You can feel the cool wind blow you stiff as you walk down the beach at corniche after sunset. Other less hot parts of the world are already under an inch of snow. So are you beating that cold with hawt fashion? Or do you need advice on how to hit the right flakes with the right boots. A couple of celebrities i came across that are totally showing off their new winter wardrobe, and with style.

The most important day in a girl’s life is her wedding day. It has to be Perfect in every way. Perfect napkin arrangement on the table, perfect flower decor at the reception, perfect serving of delicious appetizers, perfect orchestra to play waltz. But the most important part of that wedding, is her dress. It has to be perfect for that one day when all eyes are on her. Especially those one set of eyes that will accept her as a soul companion for the rest of their lives.

Henna has been a part of Arabian culture for the longest time ever (almost 5000 years), way before the bedioun camps, basket weaving and camel riding. Although the men wouldn’t have bothered detaching sheesha pipes from the their lips long enough to give this tradition a second glance, the women went absolutely crazy over it. There was someing just so exciting about the attractive designs, the alluring scent (repulsive for some male) and how the color stood out so dark and bright.

Two words, Smoky Eyes. Yup, every female has those soulful beauties colored up in gorgeous shades to express the mere emotions in them more prominanently. She could be lazing down a mall hallway or dancing wild in a club, but her eyes are made up smokilicious. Confused? Question marks popping all over the place screaming that one sentence? Snailing down the Ad road rush hour, i look up at the newly erected highrises that seem to go on forever. Sure does seem wonderful to be in the lively city of Abu Dhabi finally. This place has apparently lost its quality for being quite and serene with so much happening all the time. Specially towards the khalidiya where THE beach is, and so am i. And afcourse Emirates Palace and AD exhibition centre is always rocking with hot musicain and DJs almost every week.

Dont you just love vacations! To get away from your kill-me-of-boredom and work-work-till-you-die routine, and do something new and exciting for a change. Like Skydiving in Dubai!(NOT farfetched). Or a day of shop-till-you-drop at the best bargain stores. Or maybe trotting off for complete relaxation and pampering at an expensive spa. Sigh...the dreams just dont stop. Especially if you are on your feet all day long!

Hijab is a big part of the local arabs in U.A.E. Passed on from generations to generations, it identifies the uniqueness and the moral sanctity of an Arab woman. It is however very rare to see it being pulled off in a perfect way. To combine fashion and tradition into a becoming style is not as easy as it sounds. I mean who wouldnt love those strappy beauties that seduce with you with their long, delicate heels and shapy soles. *Sigh* I am an absolute victim to them. Girls, your are nothing without a good pair of heels to show off that dress you spent thousands on. Read my lips. Shoes are life.

Isnt that what every fashion designer and stylist seem to be saying these days? Why not when they got the perfect tools to actually do it. A prefect dress with a pair of strappy stilletoes and a little colored brushstroke to emphasize the cheekbones, who says we cant help flaunt those lovely curves to bring out the beauty queen in you.

The end of summer brings not only shedding of colorful leaves, but also a chill in the air that makes you want to put on longer skirts and higher boots. Gone are the hot summers of light tshirts and jeans. Its time for some leather and fur to be introduced to your wardrobe. Yes girls, its time to put away those summer minis and add on some fall wear.
