Speckyboy Design Magazine launched in October 2007, as the personal freelance web design homepage of Paul Andrew. Somewhere over the following months this site dramatically changed direction, and evolved into the great design resource magazine that you can currently see. We offers insightful tutorial, time-saving techniques, fresh and useful resources and inspirational art, covering web design and development, graphic design, advertising, mobile applications and even, the occasional Lego post. It is run by and most articles are written by Paul Andrew, a web designer and blogger, with the simple aim of offering readers the chance to learn and be inspired.

  • Coding the Digg v4 Layout with HTML5 and CSS3

    The social news community Digg has been online since 2004 and rapidly grew in popularity leading up to the 2008 elections. Come 2011 the Digg team performed an overhaul on the system and completely revamped the site layout. This also broke the friends system, allowing big-name publishers to game the front page.
